Palmeiras enfrenta o Botafogo na 12ª rodada do Brasileirão

O jogo entre Palmeiras e Botafogo promete ser o confronto mais emocionante da 12ª rodada do Campeonato Brasileiro, colocando frente a frente o líder e o vice-líder da competição.

A partida será transmitida ao vivo pela Rádio Nacional, com início às 16h (horário de Brasília) deste domingo (25), no Allianz Parque.

Apesar da derrota por 1 a 0 para o Bahia na última quarta-feira, que foi o primeiro revés do Palmeiras no campeonato, a equipe chega com força para o confronto. Classificado para as quartas de final da Copa do Brasil, onde enfrentará o São Paulo, e já garantido nas oitavas de final da Copa Libertadores, o Verdão ocupa a segunda posição do Brasileirão com 22 pontos.

Para o jogo contra o líder do campeonato, espera-se que o técnico português Abel Ferreira faça algumas alterações na equipe titular. O goleiro Weverton, o meio-campista Raphael Veiga e o atacante Rony, que estavam servindo a seleção brasileira durante a Data Fifa, devem retornar aos seus respectivos lugares, substituindo Marcelo Lomba, Bruno Tabata e Endrick.

Na lateral esquerda, o uruguaio Piquerez, que estava com a seleção de seu país, assume o lugar de Vanderlan. Além disso, o técnico Abel Ferreira terá que lidar com a ausência de Gabriel Menino, que está suspenso. Nesse caso, o colombiano Richard Ríos deve receber uma oportunidade. Dessa forma, a escalação titular do Palmeiras deve ser: Weverton; Mayke, Luan, Gustavo Gómez e Piquerez; Zé Rafael, Richard Ríos e Raphael Veiga; Artur, Dudu e Rony.

Líder do Campeonato Brasileiro com 27 pontos, o Botafogo chega motivado ao confronto, especialmente após abrir uma vantagem de cinco pontos sobre o Palmeiras na última rodada, vencendo o Cuiabá por 1 a 0 mesmo com uma atuação mediana. Essa diferença de pontos deixa o Alvinegro em uma posição muito confortável neste domingo, pois mesmo se perder para o Verdão, ainda manterá a liderança do Brasileirão.

No entanto, para obter um resultado positivo contra o Palmeiras fora de casa, a equipe comandada pelo português Luís Castro pode enfrentar um grande problema com o desfalque do zagueiro Adryelson, que não completou o jogo contra o Cuiabá devido a dores na virilha. Assim, um dos principais jogadores do Botafogo nesta temporada será avaliado antes da partida.

Dessa forma, o Botafogo deve entrar em campo com a seguinte formação: Lucas Perri; Di Plácido, Adryelson (Philipe Sampaio), Cuesta e Hugo; Marlon Freitas, Tchê Tchê e Eduardo; Júnior Santos, Tiquinho Soares e Victor Sá.
